hoikuen hunting.....

　

a typical 保育園(hoikuen - nursery school) in japan...sekali pandang cam sekolah kan...yes sebab bilangan kanak2 yang dijaga dlm satu2 nursery school ni boleh mencapai 250 orang dr umur 6bulan- 3 tahun....taska kat msia berapa orang agaknya ek....

anyway...sekarang dlama proses mencari hoikuen untuk adik...he's 4 and 1/2 months now...but acts like an older child..otonashi....hihi....you might ask ... kenapa nak hantar hoikuen? yup...because i asked kak su that question sedangkan abg pali blh jaga faris...and yus asked kak ainun that same question since i'm available untuk jagakan adik....and the answer is... so the child gets to experience life amongst the japs...to get friends his own age...so that he can benefit from the education they receive in nursery schools...so that he can grow mentally....

for example..they learn discipline early on....my senior masa kat fukui dulu sent her daughter to hoikuen just for a few hours a day..and since they learn to drink from sippy cups in school she has stopped nursing from bottles at an early age....cuba kalau kita yang jaga maunye ada budak dah besar pun still pegang botol kan... and another senior here sends her son to  hoikuen too and he no longer needs a diaper...cm cepat sikit....plus they have activities at school like swimming..singing and such....

 bukanlah nak kata kita tak leh ajar anak kita buat cm tu kat umah kan...yes we can but it takes patience hard work and mcm2 lg...plus i have a theory that kids learn faster from their peers...siap penah tgk documentary about a study on children development..they had a group of same age babies play together..and one of the kids still couldn't crawl but the other could..and the mother said when they got home tiba2 je they baby leh crawl.... saaa naaa...

anyway...back to the hoikuen hunting thing... pening jugak la..one of the things that they stress upon is that the kid has to be 6 months and older...special case je leh hantar budak lagi kecik... diorang yuusen (pentingkan) org kerja..bila dengar parents adik students　ada hoikuen yang tak brapa nak amik adik...nak masuk hoikuen parents kena interview dulu... ada hoikuen tak nak amik sebeb polisi dia semua org kena makan benda sama melainkan ada surat doktor (utk kita yg muslim susah lah - kalau menu hari tu cik 'bab' cm ne)...kita mintak bincang bab tu pun dia kata tak boleh...tu polisi sekolah...hmmmmm

the search goes on..... hopefully adik gets in somewhere.... i myself as one of his caregivers want the best for him...

kita lak yang terlebih excited...leh tak huhuhu

hari ni genap 1 bulan dua hari kita jaga alaudin a.k.a adik while his parents pergi lab....five days a week...kalau adik tak buat hal lah....

today ada 家庭訪問....ada nurse dtg umah check adik...ukur berat seme...bincang2...setsumei pasal imuization and so on...kita lak terlebih excited hahaha

after seme selesai ...alhamdulillah...pertumbuhan adik juncho...berat semua ok....siap org tu puji lagi sebab dah pandai ikut source buyi..leher pun dah kuat...and starting mlm semlm dia dh reti meniarap..baru tahu kalu ikut 母子手帳 buku rekod ibu dan anak...biasanya leher baby keras pada umur 3 bulan..and biasa 4 bln setengah baru leh meniarap....
tsugoi ne adik 2 bln 20 hari dah leh meniarap...maa ima kara mo gambatte kudasai....

since adik pun gambatteriru...aunty pun kena gambaru gak...lama sangat dah otak ni rest....tak diberi 刺激...thinking of picking up a new language...dr dulu pun teringin...and now dengan dorang my father, hubby, and dear friend in okayama...saya akan mulakan...dah browse buku seme...

however i find learning on your own to be quite difficult....buku saja tak cukup...mmg dia ada describe sebutan dia cm ne seme ...tapi kita tak leh check betul tak...so audio tapes are important as well...

as for my activies in the kitchen...let's say that sekarng dah bukak file baru utk isi resipi yand kita dah try and let's just say..it's 'fuzzy's kitchen tested'...kalau kita leh buat org len pun okay nye lah...

thinking of uploading...tapi tak terupload lagi..plus my photography isn't that great...

speaking of recipe hunting...bnyk jumpa food blogs org malaysia yang juga di perantauan...which helps sometimes sbb diorg upload resipi yang guna brg yang diorg leh jumpa kat area yg diorg tinggal tu...so foodbloggers yang kat jepun ni..diorg cite lah cm ne kufuu diorg utk msk certain dishes bila brg tak jumpa kat sini toka....area nak cr mknn halal toka....

oh ya kat sebelah toyohashi gikadai ni ada tempat panggil　食彩館 ...JA punya...it's a place people sell sayur n stuff..next time leh cite lagi...
anyway....kita beli anak pokok tomato n pokok cili...hari tu tanam kat fukui tak menjadi sangat sebab tak cukup matahari...pokok tu meninggi semacam je cr sunlight kesian dia...but that one tanam dr benih..kali ni ambil jln pintas beli anak pokok terus hahaha..and sekarang ada basil and italian parsley....but the italian parsley isn't doing that good....

cepatlah membesar ye pokok pokok ku....bulan puasa nanti insyAllah leh makan ...huhuhu

day two....

today baru day two sebagai full-time housewife without hubby around and i'm already bored...
yes i know ...banyak kerja yang boleh saya bereskan tapi naka naka gak lah bosan dia....but still okay compared to bosan masa baru2 masuk lab last year...

oh and yes...today is also the second day jaga alaudin a.k.a. adik....so far so good...masing2 still learning to get used to each other... and since adik is just 1and 1/2 months old ...most of his time is spent sleeping....which accounts to me having a lot of free time....and hence me getting bored...

so the last 2 days i've been recipe hunting...going through food blogs.... and today surveying international food shops aroung the nagoya area... selama ni dok order barang from baticrom and azhar je...but they only cater to ingredients for the asian region... so now for ingredients more to the italian, mexican and other ethnic cooking....and i found a website which ships from kobe and the states....tapi pricey lah skit....

baru 2 days but so far so good...learning adik's schedule has alowed to cook mcm2...last night laksa penang and blueberry panna cotta.... today baked chicken, spinach and white sauce spaghetti and for dessert condensed milk pound cake...

esok nye menu ape plak ek...
